TECOMA Uganda

Teso Enterprise Consulting and Marketing Association (TECOMA) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian development organization dedicated to working with men, women, youth and children among the rural households to enhance the improvement of their socioeconomic livelihoods. Inspired by the high poverty levels in the rural households in Teso, TECOMA is dedicated to working for improvement of the livelihood of the rural communities through empowering and building their potential to respond to their needs.

Mr. George Itiamat, Executive Director attended the Social Business Accelerator Program in 2021, a 6 months program that aims at enhancing local Social Enterprises capacities, promoting business resilience and sustainability while preparing them for business growth opportunities.

” With support from capital solutions, TECOMA has been able to develop a business plan and a marketing strategy and also it has been able to raise revenue outside the grants and donations from partners which has helped in the running of the organization” , George noted.

Currently he is also a Social Entrepreneurship Forum member.
