The symposium will be a hybrid event; over 500 participants are expected to participate (150 physical and 350 online). The theme for this year’s symposium is “Social Entrepreneurship as an Accelerator for Economic Development in Africa” and it will be held on Thursday 3rd October at the Egret Skilling Hub in Kajjansi.

 We are targeting social entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, NGOs, Government, development partners, students, researchers, social impact investors, change makers, business owners and those with a vision that includes social impact. 

This year we shall be having Social Entrepreneurship Awards with various categories to be won including climate change, Wellness, agribusiness, by women, youth, refugees and PWDs depending on the social impact created by their social enterprises. An independent audit firm will objectively help in the awarding process.
