The 5th Social Entrepreneurship Symposium 2025: "Re-Shaping the Future: Social Entrepreneurship, Inclusion and Climate Action".
The symposium is organized by the Social Entrepreneurship Forum in Uganda in partnership with Capital
Solutions Limited. Our symposiums started in July 2021 bringing together over 250 social businesses in the
sectors of Education, Health, Agriculture, Tourism and hospitality, Energy, Fashion, among others.
This is the 5th Annual Social Entrepreneurship Symposium, scheduled for Thursday 2
nd October 2025 and it will provide new opportunities to reach and engage with communities, especially those that are underserved and marginalized.
It will be a hybrid event and over 500 participants are expected to participate in this symposium. The theme for this year’s symposium is “Re-shaping the future:
Social Entrepreneurship, Inclusion and Climate Action” and it will be held at the Egret Skilling Hub in
Kajjansi. The sub themes will be on climate financing and re-structuring for NGOs.
We are targeting social entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, NGOs, Government, development partners,
students, researchers, social impact investors, change makers, business owners and those with a vision that
includes social impact.

About the Social Entrepreneurship Forum (SEF)
The Social Entrepreneurship Forum is an indigenous membership forum that has brought together over 300
social entrepreneurs in Uganda and Africa at large into a space where they can network, get business referrals
and push for a common goal. SEF was birthed by Capital Solutions in July 2020 as space that would provide
a 360-degree solution for social entrepreneurs. The Social Entrepreneurship Forum has brought together over
300 Social businesses in the sectors of Education, Health, Agriculture, Tourism and Hospitality, Energy,
Fashion, among others.
